Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (2 Hours Flight Minimum)
The T-38C virtual Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF) curriculum is a 10-hour program designed for advanced online group training at KSPS, focusing on combat tactics in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Following completion of MQT, IFF emphasizes air-to-air maneuvers, air-to-ground attacks, formation leadership in tactical setups, and simulated air refueling as a receiver.
Leveraging the T-38C's capabilities (speeds up to 600+ knots, 7.33G limit) and avionics (PFD, MFD, HUD), this block develops offensive proficiency and decision-making per adapted vTAC vAETC standards from AETCMAN 11-251.
Prerequisite: UPT Complete (Blocks 1-3)
Successful completion of all UPT blocks including Formation Certification is required before starting MQT.
