Training / MQT Block 1
MQT BLOCK 1 MISSION QUAL

Mission Qualification Training (2 Hours Flight Minimum)

The Mission Qualification Training Block 1 (MQT 1) curriculum is a 10-hour program tailored for online group training, emphasizing mission-specific skills for airlift and tanker operations in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Following completion of UPT, MQT focuses on complex flight planning, multi-leg cross-country execution, C-17/C-130 style simulated airdrops with low-level navigation, and air refueling operations from the tanker perspective.

This block builds tactical awareness, timing accuracy, and procedural knowledge for cargo delivery and air refueling missions per adapted vTAC vAETC guidelines and ATP 3.3.4.2.

Prerequisite: UPT Complete (Blocks 1-3)

Successful completion of all UPT blocks including Formation Certification is required before starting MQT.

Ground Instruction: Recommended

Ground lessons are self-study and recommended before corresponding flights.
